Far too much time has passed since the last post. Never did I think that during the pandemic I'd be having the busiest 12 months since I've been selling hospitality properties. And I just haven't had the time to keep up with posting market activity. I am adding a hospitality specialist to The Maine Inn Team, so stay tuned for that announcement in the next month or so!
In November I sold The Inn at Southwest in Southwest Harbor. I know this one very well as it sits across the driveway from my former inn, Kingsleigh Inn. And then a couple weeks ago, I sold The Inn at Park Spring in Portland. Next up will be Pine Grove Cottages in Lincolnville and Captain Lindsey Inn in Rockland, with a few more sales on the horizon.
I will have a few new listings coming on board, but none as a result
of the pandemic or sellers' wishes to just get out. It is simply time
for each, either for retirement or time to do something new before
retirement. A few of the listings have some amount of food service and
events business and range in size from 10 to 16 rooms. The price point will be $1.5m and up. Stay tuned!
