About

I am an Associate Broker with The Swan Agency Sotheby’s International Realty and specialize in marketing and selling Inns and Bed and Breakfasts statewide. My husband and I moved here in 2004 from the Washington DC area to enjoy the Maine way of life as innkeepers ourselves and purchased the Kingsleigh Inn. My prior 20 years of commercial real estate experience, innkeeping success and many other passions have led me to inn brokerage to share my expertise and experience in operating and enjoying today’s successful inn. Maine offers such an abundance of sheer beauty for anyone who appreciates and respects unspoiled nature. I believe that quality photography is key and hope that my passion for visual marketing, graphic design, innkeeping and all things Maine is evident in my attitude and my listings. Inn ownership provides a home, job, investment and lifestyle. I have three mottoes: wine and cheese daily, everything in moderation, and my glass is always half full. I hope that my website conveys this.

What makes me a Lodging Specialist?
Although I have been in commercial real estate for over 20 years, my focus as a Real Estate Broker, as a Lodging Specialist in particular, only came about because of my tenure as an innkeeper. My success in the innkeeping industry led me to want to share my expertise with others in buying or selling lodging properties.

My passion for all things innkeeping takes precedence over my Real Estate Broker status. How does this help you as a client? Innkeeper, first. Salesperson, second. The latter is simply required by law. The former is of great benefit to both buyer and seller. Not all Realtors have innkeeping experience or a passion for it. That's imperative.

Innkeeping is a way of life. It provides a job, a home and an investment. I focus on many of the elements which draw us to innkeeping: food, wine, art, travel, entertainment and sharing your personal style.
