Art inspired by the beauty of Maine...


This an oil by artist Philip Koch. Though he doesn't live in Maine, much of his work is inspired by the Maine landscape. His work can be found at Isalos Gallery in Stonington, Maine. Amazing use of color and technique to show light and movement.

here's a comment to an old post - I saw Phillip's
name whilst checking out some B&B financing info.
I am proud to say that we are often's Phillip's home base on his painting trips to MDI. It's wonderful to watch his sketches evole into the final masterpiece. I count myself lucky to see this and to Know Phillip and Alice
